Whilst doctors and nurses are in place to provide treatment, there may be times when sharing feelings around the highs and lows of life with others in similar situations can be a real help. We have an active online community where you can find support and advice from people who understand your situation.

Our free telephone counselling service offers patients and carers the chance to talk to one of our experienced counsellors about difficult emotions and any personal issues related to kidney disease. Free, confidential and non-judgmental service.

BKPA has an excellent team of Advocates across the UK, all trained to offer friendly and helpful advice to kidney patients locally. Our Advocates can help with queries over, for example, benefits, treatment choices and patient transport.
